Exploring Israel, 3 spots I loved about Old Jaffa

Greeting from Berlin! As I mentioned in my previous post about Israel, I will write each story separately, because there are too many photos and moments to be shared. So our next stop will be ‘Old Jaffa’. As we were staying not too far from the Old Jaffa city, in BatJam, we decided to have a 30 min beach walk to the old city, and this was a very good decision as we managed to pass the city from A to Z.

This is a small old city, very touristic, but definitely worth visiting when coming to Israel (and specially if you are in Tel Aviv, as it’s few minutes from there).

So here are my favourite 3 spots in Old Jaffa:

1. The sea port. This was our first stop. In the port we found a local gallery with local creative works. Absolutely astonishing works. Also there you can find bookstores with organic coffee shops, loft type of local bars with good food and live music (also well known for its hippest nightclubs in the Middle East).

2. Local designers shops. Well, this are not just typical local shops, decades ago local artists had studious on this narrowed streets of the old city and they keep making hand made crafts they sell. I mostly liked the clothes and the very unique and beautiful jewelries (specially the pomegranate one). If you don't plan to buy anything you can just walk around the old city along the streets and shops and enjoy the architecture.

3. The best park with the best view! towards Tel Aviv and seaside. A nice promenade with an amazing view, quite place with lots of local plants and specially my favourite Oleanders. Totally recommend to be there during the sunset. Beside beautiful view you can spot there lots of brides and why not maybe even a wedding ceremony, we did saw one :D me happy.

PS: This week I am moving to Netherlands, can't describe the excitement! Have a nice week everyone and see you soonish with new photos and memories.
